Barcelona:
Together with Madrid, it's the second most important
capital of Spain. Barcelona is one of the main and most dynamic
enclaves of the Mediterranean, already from Roman times. It was
founded under Augusto, and slowly substituted Tarragona as most
important Catalan city. The colony of Barcino gradually became
the first Catalan City. In Barcelona one can start counting the
monuments, the enormous mixture in style, the magnificent avenues
but it will be difficult to finish. In short, Barcelona is worthwhile
a visit to enjoy it in all its magnificence.
Fez:
The most ancient of the Royal cities in Morocco. Fes
has kept until today the most complete religious and cultural
centre in the country. The city is rich in moorich andalousian
arts. It is represented in more than four hundred Mosques,
Medersen, fountains. Three districts of the city represent
the images of the different ages of Fez.
Meknes:
Meknes is surrounded by a city wall, the biggest of
the Royal Cities (44 km). Meknes is also the city of the gardens;
it is situated in the middle of wineyards. It was built mainly
by Moulay Ismail. Throughout the visit, you will discover the
mausoleum of the Sultans as well the Medersa Bou Inanina.
Marrakech:
The city of Marrakech is the commercial centre of the South.
The lively Souks, its situation in an oasis of
palms as well as ists buildings made of red clay, give to Marrakech
an image of a typical city of desert. Marrakech was built in
the eleventh century and there still exist the wonderfull cultural
hispano-moorich monuments from the different periods. You will
also see the moorish mosque Koutoubia, the Menera, The Saadier
Sepultures, the Bahia Palace and the Djemaa El Fna Place.
Rabat:
Rabat, capital of Morocco and residence of the kings.
The Royal Palace, the incompleted Tower of Hassan, the coat
of arms of the city, the fabulous Mosque made of white marble
of king Mohammed V.
Tanger:
Throughoutyour visit to Tangier you will discover the "New City" as well as the foreign quarter. During
your walk in the "Old City" you will find the Kasbah,
the extraordinary House of Government, the Tailor´s quarter
and the different Souks. You will also see the most important
curiosities of the city: Cap Spartel, Lan Medina und Kasbah.
