Itinerary

Day 1: Lisbon

 Arrival at Lisbon Airport. Transfer to your hotel in the city center. Check-in and overnight stay. 

Day 2: Lisbon

 Enjoy a panoramic city tour through Lisbon’s most iconic areas, including Marquês de Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade, and Restauradores Square. Stop at Eduardo VII Park for breathtaking views over the city and the Tagus River. See the Parliament building and the 18th-century Estrela Basilica. 
Then head to the Belém district to admire Lisbon’s most famous monuments from the Age of Discoveries: Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the Jerónimos Monastery. 
Free time to explore the city at your own pace. 
Overnight stay in Lisbon.

Day 3: Half-Day Tour: Sintra, Cabo da Roca & Cascais

Half-day excursion to the romantic town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the mountains. Admire its palaces and historic streets. Don’t miss a visit to the iconic “Piriquita” café to try a local pastry – either a “Queijada” or a “Travesseiro”.

Drive along winding roads to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, and take in the breathtaking view “where the land ends and the sea begins.” 

Follow the scenic coastal road to Guincho Beach and continue to the elegant town of Cascais, once a fishing village, now a stylish resort known for its charming homes and palaces. 
Return to Lisbon via the coastal road, passing Estoril Casino and the Tagus estuary. 
Afternoon at leisure. 
Overnight stay in Lisbon. 

Day 4: Blue Coast: Arrábida Mountains, Azeitão Wineries & Sesimbra

 Cross the bridge over the Tagus River to reach the beautiful Arrábida region, just 35 km south of Lisbon. 

Drive along the Arrábida mountain range, a protected natural park with crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, and Mediterranean vegetation. 

Visit a traditional tile workshop in the village of Azeitão to learn about the tile-making process and create your own hand-painted piece – a unique souvenir. 

Then enjoy a guided tour of José Maria da Fonseca, the oldest table wine producer in Portugal, with a tasting of two regional wines. 

Continue to Sesimbra, a peaceful fishing village known for its beach, castle and relaxing seafront promenade. 

Lunch included at a local restaurant during the tour. 
Return to Lisbon and overnight stay. 

Day 5: Óbidos, Nazaré, Batalha & Fátima

Travel to Óbidos, a picturesque town that once served as a royal wedding gift. Walk through its medieval walls, cobbled streets and flower-filled windows. Don’t miss the famous cherry liqueur Ginjinha, served in a chocolate cup. 

Continue to Batalha and visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória – a stunning Gothic masterpiece built to celebrate Portugal’s victory over Spain in the 14th century. 

Then head to Fátima, one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage destinations in the world. Visit the Basilica, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and the Church of the Holy Trinity. 

Overnight stay in Coimbra. 

Day 6: Coimbra & Aveiro

Visit Coimbra, home to one of the oldest universities in Europe. Enjoy a walking tour through the historic center and visit the university. 

Continue to Aveiro, a coastal city known for its canals, Art Nouveau architecture and colorful Moliceiro boats. 

Take a scenic boat ride through the canals and taste the region’s sweet specialty, Ovos Moles – made from eggs and sugar. 

Arrive in Porto, panoramic approach to the city. 
Check-in and overnight stay in Porto. 

Day 7: Porto

 Enjoy a guided walking tour of Porto, including the Foz district, São Bento train station (with its iconic tile panels), the old cathedral, and the historic Ribeira riverside area, overlooked by the Dom Luís I Bridge. 

Visit a Port wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia and enjoy a tasting of two varieties. 
Later, board a traditional Rabelo boat for a panoramic cruise along the Douro River (approx. 50 minutes). 

Free afternoon to explore Porto on your own. 
Overnight stay in Porto. 

Day 8: Braga & Guimarães

Travel north to the Minho region, known for its lush green landscapes and deep-rooted traditions. 
Visit Braga, home to Portugal’s oldest cathedral and the spectacular Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary with its monumental baroque stairway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Continue to Guimarães, considered the birthplace of Portugal. Stroll through its medieval old town and visit the Castle of Guimarães, where the country’s first king, Afonso Henriques, was born. 

Return to Porto and overnight stay. 

Day 9: Porto

Check-out and transfer to Porto Airport for your return flight.
