Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Barcelona

 Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel in the city center for 2 nights. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a general introduction to the city. 

Day 2: Barcelona & Gaudí

Guided visit to Barcelona, including entrance to the Sagrada Familia and panoramic views of Gaudí’s most emblematic buildings. In the afternoon, stroll through the old town and the Gothic Quarter.

Day 3: Girona & Costa Brava

Depart for Girona after breakfast. Guided visit to the old town. Continue to Figueres to visit the Dalí Museum, then on to the fishing village of Palamós on the Costa Brava. Check in for 2 nights.

Day 4: Costa Brava & Medieval Catalonia

Experience the region in a unique way: ride electric bikes (Burricleta) through medieval villages or join a sailing trip along the rugged coastline — even try being a fisherman for a day!

Day 5: Laguardia & La Rioja

After breakfast, head to La Rioja. Stop for a short visit in Zaragoza, then cross the Monegros desert landscape before arriving in Laguardia. Overnight in the region.

Day 6: La Rioja & Bilbao

Morning visit to a local winery with tastings of wines and regional products. Continue to Bilbao and visit the Guggenheim Museum. Check in for 2 nights. 

Day 7: Bilbao & San Sebastián

Day trip along the Cantabrian coast, including a visit to San Sebastián — renowned for its Old Town, pintxos bars and the beautiful beach of La Concha.

Day 8: Picos de Europa & Cantabria

Travel to the Picos de Europa mountains. En route, visit Santillana del Mar and the Altamira Caves with Paleolithic cave art (UNESCO World Heritage). Afternoon options: coastal walk or outdoor activity (horseback riding or quad tour) in the natural park.

Day 9: Salamanca

Head south across the Castilian plateau to Salamanca, one of Spain’s oldest university towns and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guided visit on arrival.

Day 10: Seville & Andalusia

Travel to the south of Spain through Extremadura, known for its Iberian ham and oak forests. Visit a livestock farm to learn about the production process. Continue to Seville. 

Day 11: Doñana National Park & Seville

Morning visit to Doñana National Park, an important reserve for migratory birds between Europe and Africa. In the afternoon, guided visit of Seville. 

Day 12: Gibraltar & Ronda

Journey through Jerez and stop at Gibraltar, where (weather permitting) you may see the African coast across the strait. Continue to the white town of Ronda. Overnight. 

Day 13: Granada & Córdoba

Visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada (entrance included). Then travel through olive groves toward Córdoba. Stop at an olive oil estate for a visit and tasting. Continue to Córdoba. 

Day 14: Córdoba & Madrid

Guided morning visit of Córdoba’s Mosque-Cathedral (UNESCO). On the way to Madrid, stop for a short visit in Toledo. Overnight in Madrid. 

Day 15: Madrid

Guided visit of the capital city, including entrance to El Prado Museum. 

Day 16: Departure

Transfer to Madrid Airport.
