Itinerary
Day 1: Barcelona
The tour escort will welcome the group upon arrival at Barcelona Airport for a panoramic tour of the city. Enjoy spectacular views from Montjuïc and admire the impressive buildings designed by Gaudí, one of the city’s most iconic figures. Afterwards, a local guide will lead a walking tour through the Gothic Quarter, the historic center of Barcelona. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Barcelona – Zaragoza – Madrid
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Zaragoza. Free time to explore the city and visit its main monuments, such as the Basilica del Pilar. Free lunch and continuation to Madrid. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Madrid
Breakfast at the hotel. A walking tour with a local guide will take the group through the origins of the Spanish capital, tracing the legacy of the Habsburg and Bourbon dynasties and visiting key landmarks. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy all that the city has to offer. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Madrid – Córdoba – Seville
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Córdoba, an ancient Iberian and Roman city that later became the capital of an Islamic caliphate in the Middle Ages. A local guide will share the city’s fascinating history. Continue on to Seville. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Seville – Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, a local guide will lead the group through the historic center of Seville, home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alcázar palace complex, the Cathedral, and the General Archive of the Indies. After some free time, the journey continues to Granada for a night visit of the city and a flamenco show with dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Granada – Cartagena – Mar Menor
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Cartagena, a city with rich archaeological heritage including the Roman Theatre – the second largest on the Iberian Peninsula – and remains from Phoenician, Roman, Byzantine and Moorish periods. Continue to Mar Menor. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Mar Menor
