Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Barcelona airport. Transfer to the coast, check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Cadaqués and Empuriabrava

Departure to Cadaqués, a small village of Mediterranean character, typical of the Costa Brava and source of inspiration for many artists, writers and painters known all over the world, such as the famous Salvador Dalí. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, boat trip along the canals of Empuriabrava, the largest residential marina in Europe with more than 30 km of canals. Return and dinner at the hotel on the coast.

Day 3: La Vall de Bianya

After breakfast, check out and departure to the Vall de Bianya, a beautiful natural site formed by meadows, forests and rivers. On a small train, discover its cultural heritage, from the Roman road to the fifteen Romanesque churches that dominate its territory. Lunch in one of the typical restaurants. Then visit the medieval town of Santa Pau, located in the heart of the Volcanic Park. Drive to Ribes de Freser, check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: La Vall de Núria

Departure to the Vall de Núria and ascent on a railway train, ideal to contemplate the spectacular landscapes of the valley. Discover this unique space and walk along the paths that surround the sanctuary located almost 2000 metres above sea level. Lunch at the sanctuary’s restaurant. Afterwards, descent by rail train. Dinner and overnight in Ribes de Freser.

Day 5: Barcelona

Check out and departure to Barcelona for a panoramic visit of the Catalan capital: exterior views of the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s famous unfinished temple, the many modernist buildings such as La Pedrera on Passeig de Gràcia. Lunch during the visit. Stroll through the Gothic Quarter to discover its narrow streets, exterior views of the Cathedral, Plaza Real, etc. Check in, dinner and accommodation in Barcelona.
