Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Barcelona and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and dinner.
Day 2: Gaudí and the Gothic Quarter
Breakfast and departure to Barcelona to discover the works of Gaudí. Admire the exteriors and the impressive facades of the Sagrada Familia, an unfinished temple dreamt by the talented Antoni Gaudi. Next, stroll along the Passeig de Gràcia, a famous avenue lined with numerous modernist buildings such as La Pedrera and La Casa Batlló, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch in a restaurant in the centre of Barcelona.
Visit of the Gothic Quarter to discover the Gothic style Sainte-Croix Cathedral and its narrow streets that form a sort of labyrinth. In the afternoon, enjoy a stroll along the Ramblas and discover the famous Boqueria market inaugurated in the middle of the 19th century, the Plaça Reial, the Palau Güell, the Teatre del Liceu, etc. Return and dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Montserrat
After breakfast, discover the spectacular mountains of Montserrat, with their unique shapes and whose summit preserves ‘La Moreneta’ (the Black Virgin of Montserrat). After the ascent by track train, discover this majestic sanctuary. Lunch at a restaurant in Montserrat. In the afternoon, free time to discover this unique place in Catalonia and enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight in Montserrat.
Day 4: Món St. Benet
After breakfast, visit Món Sant Benet, a unique monumental complex located in the heart of Central Catalonia. You will discover the medieval monastery surrounded by a unique natural environment. After lunch, departure to Lloret de Mar, a town with a deep seafaring tradition and today one of the most important seaside resorts on the Costa Brava. Dinner and accommodation in Lloret de Mar.
Day 5: Girona
After breakfast, departure to Girona, a historic city with more than 2,000 years of history. Discover its legends, its typical narrow streets, its city walls and its Jewish quarter, the oldest and best preserved in Europe. In the afternoon, free time to discover Lloret de Mar, its beaches with crystal-clear waters and its historic centre. Stroll along the promenade and admire the 19th century and art nouveau buildings. Return and dinner at the hotel.
Day 6: Departure
Transfer to Barcelona airport and return flight.
